Optoma Golf Sim True 4K UHD Short Throw 5,000-Lumen Laser Projector - ZK521ST-B

Product Details
Optoma ZK521ST-B Golf Sim True 4K UHD Short Throw 5,000-Lumen Laser Projector
The Optoma ZK521ST-B turns home and commercial golf simulation into a vivid, detailed experience with true 4K UHD resolution, 5,000-lumen laser brightness, and a purpose-built short-throw design. Its 8.3 million pixels reveal course details while keeping simulator data, small text, and graphs easy to read. Bright output helps fairways, greens, and ball flight remain visible in rooms with ambient light.1 Golf Sim color mode further tunes blue skies, deeper shadows, and grass tones for natural-looking course imagery. Because the projector can sit closer to the impact screen, players get fewer shadows plus less club and ball interference in the hitting area.
Built for responsive simulation and demanding continuous-use environments, this DLP projector pairs low input lag with Optoma's DuraCore laser system. It is rated at 16.7 ms for 4K/60Hz and 1080p/60Hz, or 8.6 ms for 1080p/120Hz, helping on-screen action keep pace with the player. The mercury-free light source enables instant on/off operation, removes the need for lamp changes, and is rated for up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode.2 Its combination of consistent brightness, vivid color, lower maintenance, and reduced energy use makes it well suited to golf entertainment, training, education, business displays, and other immersive installations.
Optoma also equips the ZK521ST-B for versatile alignment and networked management. Multiple aspect settings and geometric controls help the projected image fit different screen shapes, including 1:1 golf impact screens, while vertical lens shift, four-corner adjustment, 360-degree operation, and portrait projection broaden placement options. The Optoma Smart Control App brings setup, source switching, alerts, and routine operation to a mobile device, with camera-assisted Smart Fit and Smart Move tools available for alignment and obstacle avoidance. For multi-display sites, Optoma Management Suite supports centralized monitoring, diagnosis, control, and configuration through cloud or local networking. OTA firmware delivery simplifies access to features, performance improvements, and security enhancements without a USB drive, while an integrated 15W speaker adds onboard sound. A design using more than 50% recycled metal and PCR materials, paired with 100% recyclable FSC-certified paper packaging, supports reduced material waste.
Key Features
Smart Fit and Smart Move
Smart Fit uses a smartphone camera to recognize the screen frame and automatically correct the image to its boundaries. Smart Move uses camera-based obstacle detection to relocate the projection to an unobstructed area.
Optoma Smart Control App
From a mobile device, users can manage power, change the source, review status alerts, and handle routine controls on iOS and Android OS.3 Display adjustment tools can also tune the image for third-party golf simulation software such as GSPro.4
Impact-Screen Fitting
Support for 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, Full, Auto, and Native aspect settings gives installers a range of starting points for different screen formats. Geometric tools can then refine the picture for golf installations, including 1:1 impact screens.
Optoma Management Suite
IT and AV teams can review display status, diagnose issues, issue commands, and configure audiovisual equipment from a centralized cloud or local-network environment.
Flexible Image Alignment
Horizontal and vertical keystone correction of +/-15 degrees helps reshape trapezoidal images, while four-corner adjustment, geometric correction, and vertical lens shift provide additional control during installation.
Built for Demanding Installations
Support for 24/7 use, 360-degree operation, and portrait orientation lets integrators adapt the projector to commercial entertainment, training, immersive, business, and education spaces.
